Abstract

Pancreatolithiasis represents a phase in the natural history of certain varities of chronic pancreatitis, the precise mechanism of the formation of these calculi is unknown. Pain is the main indication for-operation and occur because there is not only pancreatolithiasis but chronic pancreatitis.
Permanent decompression of the pancreatic duct is the objective of the direct surgical attack on chronic relapsing pancreatitis.
We experienced two case of chronic calcif is pancreatitis with good result of incapacitating pain relie by side to side pancreaticojejunostomy (Puestow-Gillesby) and distal pancreatectomy.
